Section 2 lists the outside companies that help us run Tartan's hosted service for your organization.

Section 3 lists other companies we use for our own website, email and app distribution.

Your org's data is stored in the United States.

Your traffic is end-to-end encrypted. None of these companies can read it.

We post a new subprocessor here, in the changelog and in the console 30 days before it starts.

If you object, our Data Processing Addendum explains what happens.

1. What this page is

TechSolve LLC is a Kentucky limited liability company ("TechSolve", "we") and the maker of Tartan Networks ("Tartan").

A subprocessor is a third party that processes customer personal data on our behalf when we provide the hosted Tartan service.
The Data Processing Addendum (https://tartannetworks.com/legal/dpa) governs how we use subprocessors. Section 2 of this page is Annex III of that addendum.

2. Subprocessors for the hosted service

3. Other providers we use as controller

We use these providers for our own purposes, not to process your org's network data. The Privacy Policy (https://tartannetworks.com/legal/privacy) covers them.

4. Not subprocessors

Your identity provider. If your org signs in through its own identity provider (for example Microsoft Entra ID or Google), your org chooses it and contracts with it. It is not our subprocessor.
Your RMM tool. If your org turns on the Windows agent's optional RMM hook, the agent writes the device's overlay address into your org's own remote-management tool. That tool belongs to your org.
Code hosting and code-review tools. We use them to build Tartan. They never receive customer data.
Self-hosted deployments. If you run Tartan yourself, we process none of your network data, and section 2 does not apply.

5. Changes

We give at least 30 days' notice before a new subprocessor in section 2 processes customer personal data, in three places:

on this page, with a new version and date;
in the policy changelog (https://tartannetworks.com/legal/changes);
in the console, once the console's policy-notice feature is live. Until then, notice is given in the first two places.

Customers may object as section 7 of the DPA describes. Changes to section 3 are posted here and in the changelog. Send questions to privacy@tartannetworks.com.
